Fledgling Alpaca blend sock yarn is here!
It's made with 55% alpaca, 25% merino, and 20% nylon - and it's an all-UK yarn, from UK-bred Alpacas.
Fledgling is gorgeously soft and squooshy, slightly thicker and fluffier than Yaffle Sock, but still 4-ply weight, so it knits up quickly on 2.5-3mm needles. There's enough in a skein to make a pair of socks with a little ball left over.
Each skein is approximately 100g, 355yds or 324m
Hand wash only.
I called the blend 'Fledgling' - it's as soft as a tiny fluffy bird!
