All our sock yarns are 4ply, 80% wool and 20% nylon, in a blend spun here in the UK, exclusively for Laughing Yaffle...there may be imitations...but it's not our yarn! ;)
Each skein of yarn weighs just over 100g, so one skein is enough for a pair of socks.The approximate yardage of a skein is 460 yards - that's about 420 metres. All yardages/meterage is approximate as it's all hand-skeined by us. We recommend hand-washing in cool water with mild soap for all our yarn.
A note about pictures: There are two skeins in the pictures of the yarn. One has been re-skeined to mix the colours up a bit to show them off to their full glory. As I can't re-skein every single hank, you will most likely receive the one that hasn't been re-skeined, but rest assured they are exactly the same yarn, from exactly the same batch.
